ALTON TOWERS is 25 minutes drive away, while ASHBOURNE in the Heart of the Peak District is 10 minutes further on. With it’s lovely old market and antique shops it is the gateway to the beautiful walks around Dovedale, Ilam and Tissington. Cannock Chase is about 4 mile away, this is a forest area of 26sq. miles which is designated as an Area of Outstanding Beauty and was once a Royal Hunting Ground. Woodland Walks, Cycle Tracks, Picnic Areas, Deer Spotting Trails and Bird Watching are among the mainy things to do here along with a horse trekking centre. SHUGBOROUGH HALL with its Histroic Working Estate complete with farm and it's many events throughout the year is only 5 miles away on the edge of the CHASE.

We are in the area of the lovely National Forest and we are only 5 miles from Uttoxeter race course. We are able to supply tickets for all areas of the race course.
