The cottages vary in size and accommodation but all have been converted and furnished to the same excellent standard which has led to us being awarded 4 stars by the English Tourism Council. They all have full Gas Central Heating.

They also have private patios overlooking the reservoir along with communal lawns there is a field for ballgames, a children’s play area and Boule. There is also a small laundry. There are T.V.’s and video/DVD recorders in each cottage with a selection of videos, books and games to borrow in the Games Room which has a pool table, Air Hockey and Bar Football. The cottages are only suitable for Easy Walking Access as they all have some steps and some have narrow passages, this is due to the restrictions of the original buildings.

We have numerous pubs and restaurants in the area to suit all tastes and pockets. There are also excellent Takeaways in both Rugeley and Uttoxeter some of which will deliver.

On our Organic Dairy Farm itself there is a pool for Carp Fishing and Ornithologists can enjoy a variety of bird life as the Reservoir is a renowned area for rare sightings and is a reserve managed by the West Midland Bird Club. One of our fields is an S.S.S.I. as it is a winter feeding ground for Widgeon ducks. For the Walking enthusiasts we have created walks across our farmland to link into the Staffordshire Way Footpath which runs along the southern side of the farm. There are numerous Pubs and Restaurants in the area to suit every Taste, Palate and Purse. Our Cottages have been developed with support from the England Rural Development Programme – part of the E.E.C.
